Patients are responsible for informing Tri-State Medical Supplies of any insurance/payer information changes while services are being rendered. Failure to do so may result in the patient's insurance/payer to deny coverage of services, products or equipment which would make the patient totally responsible. If a patient's insurance requires a deductible, if the deductible amount has not been met at the time of insurance verification, the deductible may be collected upon delivery of the equipment/supplies. Once a patient's deductible has been met, any balances not paid by the patient's insurance company will be the patient's responsibility. Please note hospital stays may affect insurance benefits.
